Volunteering
George Peabody has a dedicated community of parent volunteers. We have numerous volunteer opportunities both inside and outside the classrooms.
If you are a parent and would like to volunteer send an email to volunteer@peabodyschool.com, letting us know what you would like to do and when! Let us know your strengths and we will find a way to put them to good use.
You’ll be contacted by Mrs. Janice Wong, our student advisor, and the PTA Volunteer Coordinator. We will update you throughout the year with many opportunities to volunteer via the weekly Wednesday envelope from the school.
If you are a non-parent and would like to volunteer, please call our office and ask to speak with Mrs. Wong. You will be referred to the San Francisco School Volunteers or the Jewish Coalition for Literacy which does the mandatory background check and provides orientation classes for the community.
