Provide web content
To contribute content to this website:
Please speak with “Principal Willem Vroegh” about the article you wish to write; he’s the final authority on what appears here.
Once finished, with his approval, please send me, your webmaster, an email with the article pasted into the body (no need to send me Microsoft Word documents, I’m going to strip out the article text anyway).
Photographs are gratefully accepted: please resize them to be no larger than 640 pixels in their longest dimension. Anything bigger makes the website difficult to view and slower to load. Please save photographs in JPG (JPEG) format, artwork in PNG (or, a poor second best, GIF) format. If you can name the photographs yyyy-mm-dd-xxx.fmt (year, month, day, index, and format) it would be really appreciated; it’s not absolutely necessary, but really appreciated.
There are two easy ways to provide photographs for the website:
- If you are comfortable with adding attachments to email, add the photographs to an email and send it along.
- Otherwise place the resized and renamed photographs into a new folder, zip up that folder, and use a free public service like YouSendIt.com to upload it and send it to me.
I will lay out the article, add the photographs, and give Principal Vroegh the URL for his final approval, after which the article will appear (within minutes).
If you want to be a regular contributor, and you’re familiar with WordPress, please let the Principal know of your desire, commitment, and contact information. Once approved, your author-level account information will be emailed to you.
Thank you!
